Your driveway and patio are more than functional spaces—they’re visible from the street and used daily by your family. For decades, most homeowners resigned themselves to plain gray concrete that cracked with age and showed every stain. But decorative concrete has transformed what’s possible. Stamped concrete creates the appearance of stone, brick, slate, or tile while delivering the durability and affordability of concrete. For residents of Burton, Ohio, and the surrounding Northeast Ohio region, stamped concrete offers a proven way to enhance curb appeal, increase property value, and create outdoor spaces you’ll genuinely enjoy.
At Allways Construction, we’ve spent more than 35 years perfecting our craft in residential and commercial concrete work. Stamped concrete is one of our specialties, and we’ve seen firsthand how this single upgrade can transform a property’s entire appearance.
What Makes Stamped Concrete Different
Traditional concrete is poured, finished with a trowel, and left to cure—resulting in a plain gray surface. Stamped concrete follows a different process that creates texture, pattern, and visual depth. Fresh concrete is poured and allowed to set to a specific consistency. Stamps (heavy rubber or steel molds) are pressed into the surface, creating patterns. Stamps are carefully lifted, leaving a detailed impression.
